WHAT THIS CHAPTER CHECKS
Each scene is independent. Original X/C practice requirements teach when exposures are allowed. They are not hands copied from an annual card.
Final-tile questions explicitly assume that all other requirements of a valid current-card hand are satisfied. The other tiles are not pictured. A correct response tests the calling exception; it does not verify an actual NMJL hand.
At a real table, use your current card, its notes and the full rules. Calling priority, disputed or misnamed tiles, full Charleston, scoring and complete games are outside this chapter.
Worked examples show an answer. Guided practice offers a hint. Each independent set has 11 questions: two reading decisions and nine calling scenes, with no answer hints. Colors, notes and X/C must be read by the learner. First responses stay recorded even after you see an explanation; previously opened sets are marked as seen. Stage buttons return to your last scene; “Review this stage from the start” changes the viewing position without clearing submitted answers.
Independent practice. Not affiliated with or endorsed by NMJL. No accounts, online opponents or AI rule judge.
This clears chapter answers only. Previously opened check sets remain marked as seen. Your 8 foundation drills are unchanged.
